My Easiest Meatloaf Recipe

To help make this meatloaf recipe the most budget friendly, I buy my meat early in the morning at a 30%-50% discount. I usually pay between 79-99 cents per pound for ground beef.

This meatloaf is delicious, super easy and kid friendly!

1 1/2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup pureed cauliflower or carrots
1 cup beef broth or Milk (use powdered milk with water)
1 cup quick cooking oats
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp salt
1 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tbs onion powder

Preheat oven to 350°. Mix all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Press meat mixture into 8x4 loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until no longer pink and juices run clear. Let rest for 5 minutes. Drain and cut into slices to serve.

If you like your meatloaf with a saucy topping, try this one!You can omit the hot sauce for the sensitive tender taste buds in your family.

Meatloaf Sauce
